I’m going the distance to change the lives of country kids!

On Thursday, 15 May, I'll be embarking on quite the adventure—cycling over 330km from Bourke to Narromine. Why? Well, it's not because I’ve suddenly become a pro athlete (let's be honest, I’ve got a lot of work to do before I can even pretend to be that fit!). But more importantly, I’m doing it to raise vital funds to support the developmental and mental health needs of Australia’s country kids through Royal Far West, where I have the privilege of working.

At Royal Far West, our mission is to ensure that country kids, no matter where they live, have access to the health and education services they need. Many kids in regional and remote Australia wait up to six years just to see a paediatrician—or worse, are told there’s no one available at all. For these children, access to the right care at the right time is life-changing, and we're here to close that gap.

So, yes, I'm pedaling across 330km of the outback (on purpose!) to help raise $750,000 for country kids who are facing developmental and mental health challenges. Every bit of your support, whether it’s a donation or just sharing this page, will make a huge difference. Every dollar goes towards connecting these vulnerable kids to the healthcare services they desperately need.
