I’m getting out of the clinic, into lycra and onto my bike to improve country kids’ developmental and mental health

I’ve dedicated my career to improving healthcare access for children and families in rural and remote Australia

It’s vital to raise awareness about developmental and mental health problems in children from rural and remote areas. Geography shouldn’t determine a child’s access to healthcare. Kids in rural and remote areas face unique challenges, from delayed diagnoses, limited earlier intervention to fewer specialist services.

But the right support at the right time can be the difference between a child thriving or falling behind, so every dollar we raise helps bridge that gap, ensuring more children get the care and support they need, no matter where they live.
