I’m going the distance to change the lives of country kids!

On March 12th I’ll be setting off from Cooma to cycle over 400km (and nearly 7000 vertical metres) to Lake Hume Village to raise much needed funds to support the developmental and mental health of Australia’s country kids.

Children and families living in rural and remote areas have had a tough couple of years – drought, devastating bushfires, floods, storms and a global pandemic have had devastating impacts on so many. This, coupled with the significant disadvantage they face simply because of where they live, means there has been a drastic increase in the number of country kids in need of developmental and mental health services.

For these kids, a positive trajectory in life can be at risk if they can't access the right care at the right time.

I want to help make a difference, so I’m going the distance to close the health gap for country kids. I’m riding to help raise $350,000 to connect country kids with developmental and mental health needs to the critical assessments, services and support they need to thrive.

You can help me achieve this by making a donation via this page AND by helping to spread the word by sharing my page. Every dollar of your donation – no matter how large or small - adds up to truly make a difference for country kids. Your gift will be directly support vulnerable country kids by connecting them to the vital healthcare services and support they urgently need.

THANK YOU so much for your support!
