Age is catching up. But ................................

On Sunday 17 March the annual RFW  Fundraiser will be setting off from Merimbula to cycle over 330km to Cobargo to raise vital funds to support the developmental and mental health of Australia’s country kids.

Children and families living in rural and remote areas are still recovering from the impact of the 2019 bushfires. As we enter into another challenging bushfire season, I believe there is no greater time to be staging this event supporting these kids.

For these children a positive trajectory in life can be at risk if they can't access the right care at the right time, simply because of where they live, some quite isolated.

After riding in five annual RFW fundraisers, at my age now with a few medical issues, my riding in the event is over, not wanting to jeopardise the field.

Instead I am involved this year as an RFW volunteer, to assist in every way I can to support the riders and the event.

Having registered I am still very determined to raise funds for this special organisation and its work, dear to my heart!

The goal for the ride is $600,000 for country kids who are struggling with developmental and mental health needs to get them access to the critical assessments, services and support they need to thrive.

Each rider and myself as a volunteer included is committed to raise $4,000 to contribute.

You can help me achieve this by making a donation via this page AND by helping to spread the word by sharing my page. Every dollar of your donation – no matter how large or small - adds up to truly make a difference for country kids. Your gift will directly support vulnerable country kids by connecting them to the vital healthcare services and support they urgently need.

THANK YOU so much for your support!  It really means a lot to me and our amazing Royal Far West.
